"H & G Contractors have worked alongside Children First Learning Centres since 2001 with centres in Ipswich and surrounding regions. Like the building Industry, Child Care is highly regulated, so it is important to work with a company that understands these regulations and is flexible during construction.
"In 2007 CFLC had the opportunity to develop a heritage-listed building in the suburb of Clayfield. This unique opportunity needed the experience and knowledge of a company that would not only deliver our concept project but would show due diligence and dedication to finish the work on very tight schedule with the quality finishes we expected. Without hesitation we enlisted the building services of H & G Contractors. The end result was a beautifully restored Hall and Dodds heritage building that surpassed our expectations and gave us the wow factor! This in turn resulted in CFLC receiving many awards and accolades since opening in 2009."

Martin Corkery, Director, Children First Learning Centres

"In 2006, H & G Contractors built a three storey extension to the Ipswich City Multiplex, complete with underground car parking facilities. The work was finished on time and in budget. Representatives of H & G were helpful and attentive at all times and went out of their way to accommodate our needs and understand our objectives.
"We would have no hesitation in using them in the future."

Pastor John Hunt, Senior Minister
Ipswich City Christian Church

"H & G Contractors have performed major and minor contract work for the University of Queensland for a number of years. The company completes its work on time, to a high standard, within budget, in a safe environment and with little disruption to the functional operation of the facility."

Craig Carlton, Project Officer Gatton Campus
University of Queensland

"Thank you for the invaluable assistance H & G Contractors provided to The University of Queensland during the flood of January 2011. Your support is a great testament to our strong work relationships during a difficult period of high workload, exceptional circumstances and at times, limited resources. Given that many of your staff may have also been affected personally, the response during this period has been highly commendable and most appreciated. "Thank you again for your support and commitment to The University of Queensland."

Alan Egan, Director Property and Facilities
University of Queensland

"During the construction of a commercial project at 19-23 Enoggera Terrace, Myles Harm demonstrated a high professional standard and ensured the project proceeded smoothly. H & G Contractors have proved to be efficient, extremely competent, and have an excellent rapport with clients."

Jacqueline Pearce, Director Architect
JM Pearce architects

"Upon meeting Myles Harm of H & G Contractors I felt an immediate sense of calm. The job was huge - a heritage listed, dilapidated wooden church with a bend of 60cm (2ft) in the middle of 2 floors and only one truss left holding up the roof.
"A building which would be easier to pull down and start again but was Heritage listed and had to be restored to original condition. With a team of four men who became devoted to the project and took great pride in their unique skills, H & G Contractors set about expertly restoring our circa 1886 church.
"Over many months and meetings with Myles, the architect and myself, every aspect was considered and worked upon. Myles' team fluctuated to 20 men who were always happy, enthusiastic and communicative.
The result being well priced for the depth of work involved and the quality of finishes outstanding."
