The extension to Fassifern Doctors has enabled additions of five consult rooms, a nurse’s room, caretaker’s residence, amenities, laundry, storage and car parking. Works included enclosing the existing deck to accommodate new building access, new trussed roof for two-storey construction, fire rating and advanced accessibility. The extension was undertaken while the busy centre was in operation for the duration of works. The project team successfully overcame challenges of ensuring stringent control of noise and contamination and limited service outages through clear and continuous client communication. H&G Contractors mitigated any disruptions to deliver a successful project meeting the functional requirements of the client.
