This project involved the design and construction of a modern, clubhouse facility at Jim Donald Parklands, creating a new focal point for community sport and recreation. The single-level facility is designed to service both playing fields and will deliver a high-quality, fully accessible environment that enhances the overall experience for players, officials and visitors.
The development included a comprehensive range of amenities such as multiple team change rooms, referee facilities, public and accessible toilets, a medical room, and a spacious clubroom. Supporting features like a commercial canteen/kitchen, covered concourse and deck areas, breezeway, storage, and upgraded pathways and lighting ensure the venue is practical, welcoming and capable of supporting match-day activities and everyday community use.
Delivered as a full design-and-construct project, the works transform the existing site into a fit-for-purpose, ready-to-use facility integrated with surrounding infrastructure. Careful planning and staging ensured construction is carried out efficiently while maintaining public access to the sporting grounds, resulting in a durable, functional asset that will serve the local community for years to come.
